1st Logo (1975-1983)

Logo: Superimposed in the credits, we see either one of these three texts:

THIS HAS BEEN A CARRUTHERS CO. PRODUCTION IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE AMERICAN BROADCASTING CO. The above notice used a Peignot font. The other text reads:

THIS HAS BEEN A CARRUTHERS COMPANY PRESENTATION IN ASSOCIATION WITH WARNER BROS. TELEVISION The Press Your Luck pilot variant reads:

A CARRUTHERS CO. PRODUCTION IN ASSOCIATION WITH CBS TELEVISION, INC. © 1983 FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The end theme plays while either one of the three in-credit notices shown above appears on the screen.

Availability: The in-credit text for the Carruthers Company and Warner Bros. Television appeared on three short-lived game shows: The Neighbors, Give-N-Take, and Second Chance. The Carruthers/ABC text in the Peignot font was seen on the un-aired ABC game show pilot Beat The Odds. The Carruthers/CBS text seen on the pilot of Press Your Luck.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo (1983-1986)

Logo: As superimposed on Press Your Luck, we see the text:

A Carruthers (____)Company Presentation ©[YEAR] Between "Carruthers" and "Company" is a rounded rectangle.

FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: None, it's superimposed, except for that choppy "wipe" effect from the CBS Television City mentioning to the logo.

Music/Sounds/Voice-over: The ending theme of Press Your Luck with Rod Roddy saying, "This is Rod Roddy speaking for 'Press Your Luck,' A Carruthers Company Presentation!".

Availability: Extinct. Was seen on episodes of Press Your Luck on GSN, until they started cutting off the end credits of some their shows around 2005/2006. GSN ceased airing Press Your Luck in March 2009, but resumed airing them this year, starting from the first episode, but still don't expect to see this.

Scare Factor: None.
