Background[]

In October 12, 1991, Parafilm has been renamed to Cinemas Of Paraguay.

1st Logo (October 29, 1991-June 1, 1999)[]

Visuals: On a black or white background is a film reel attached to a filmstrip, with a circle with the drawing of Paraguay with a P overlapped. Next to the strip is “Cinemas Of” in a script font, and “araguay” under it.

Variant: On Facios, the logo is light blue.

Technique: A still, printed image.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Valíto, Dios, MXico, Facios.

2nd Logo (July 1, 1999-April 9, 2020)[]

Visuals: On a black background, the text “CINEMAS OF” in a futuristic font is seen under a white/gray filmstrip. The white one has “Para” and the gray one with “Guay” on it.

Variants:

  • On 43 Sueños, the logo is tinted red.
  • On Bien Via, “PRESENTÀ” is seen on the gray strip.
  • Some films may have the logo is various sizes.
  • On Jonduos Megos, the logo is next to the 32 Estudios logo.
  • On El Chío, it next to the It’s A Films logo.
  • On Guiños, “Producciones” is under the logo.
  • A animated version exist were two filmstrips, one white, and one gray, slides up and down. Followed by the text “PARA” in gray fading in on a white strip, and “GUAY” in white fading in on the white strip. The text “CINEMAS OF” drops down on top of the filmstrip.

Technique: A still graphic, flash animation for the animated variant.

Audio: None or a opening theme of a movie.

Audio Variant: The animated version has two whooshes, followed by two fast reversed metal whooshes when the texts fades in, and a metal clang when the text drops down.

Availability:

  • Seen on their majority of films they made, like El Día Paraguayo.
  • The animated version was seen only on Unidas Tati.

3rd Logo (April 5, 2024)[]

Visuals: There is two bars, one black and one gray, with a floor under it, making it look like a room. A total of letters are seen raining down the sky and hitting a floor, later the letters starts to move as the screen pans up, revealing that the letters are forming “CINEMAS OF PARAGUAY PRODUCCIONES” in the same style as the 2nd logo’s Guiños variant, but in the text “PRODUCCIONES” is inside the rectangle, and the whole text is in a different font.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The sound of the letters falling, followed by a bombastic orchestra theme.

Availability: Seen on Épicos Sadihalos.
