Background: Named after the TV show aired on Earth's TV channel Nickelodeon of the same name, Clarissa Explains It All was the name of the production company that East House creators John59399 and Thomas60400 used to produce the show. The production name was dropped in 2006 and is now simply known as Grid Square Studios.

1st Logo (1997)

Nickname: "China"

Logo: Shot in Technicolor, we see a group of Asian men and women, holding a smoke of match. The bar displays the text "CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL PRODUCTIONS". "IN CONJUNCTION WITH..." then appears in place of the company name.

Trivia: The Asian trio are part of "China", a short film creators John59339 and Thomas60400 make during the making of the first episode of East House.

Cheesy Factor: Who Thinks this is a suitable logo?!?!?!? It'sHorrible! All this is nothing but a color video of Asia man singing as if they can't sing and didn't practice at all andpractically just filmed it just for fun!

FX/SFX: All live-action, with the camera moving a bit.

Music/Sounds: Just the men singing "Clarrisaa Expllllains It Allll Producccctttiiiioooooonsssssss!" off-key.

Availability: Rare; only seen on the original pilot episode of East House.

Scare Factor: None, but may be much higher to those who are disturbed by the subject matter.

2nd Logo (August 13, 1997-March 29, 2006)

Nicknames: "Clarissa Explains It All", "Clarissa", "Explains It All"

Logo: On a white background, we see Clarissa drawing the pink words "CLARISSA" in a eraseboard font, film footage from the Clarissa Explains It All TV intro. Then, it flips and changes into a pink "CLARISSA" and the light blue words "EXPLAINS IT ALL". Both set in the Dom Casual font. Then, Clarissa leaves, leaving only the text.

FX/SFX: All live-action. The finished product looks 2D.

Cheesy Factor: The blonde woman does not look very realistic and the film is grainy (possibly due to it being old footage from a TV intro).

Music/Sounds: An uplifting 12-note piano fanfare based on a song whose lyrics are "The night is black, and all the TV is black...". This song is called "Fake Day", and is heard in John59399 and Thomas60400's film Wednesday! The Musical. Starting with season 3, the music is overridden by the East House theme.

Music/Sounds Variant: On the East House episode "The East House Elementary School Meets Michael Rosen", the theme is played a style similar to the song "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" (which played over the end credits).

Availability: Still seen on East House reruns on Adult Central, but is plastered on syndicated ones. It is still intact on the East House DVD box sets.

Scare Factor: None to low, it may surprise you at first, but it's pretty much harmless.
