Logo: Superimposed on the screen, this is the opening text saying: "(David H.) DePatie-(Friz) Freleng Presents", in some cases with the title of the show or short below. At the end, this is the text saying: "A DePatie-Freleng Production", in some cases with a copyright stamp or a byline below.
FX/SFX: The letters appearing, or none.
Music/Sounds: The opening and closing themes of the show or short.
Availability: Appears intact on various DFE shorts and early shows, included on later theatrical Pink Panther and The Inspector cartoons on DVD and Boomerang.
Scare Factor: None.
2nd Logo (1966-1969)
Logo: At the end of the credits, we see the DFE Films logo (as in the 2nd logo). Below it we see the text "A DEPATIE-FRELENG PRODUCTION".
Variants:
- On The Cat in the Hat, the cat's hat appears on "films", theres a / text and the dfe logo and the coca cola pink logo.
FX/SFX: None. On The Dr. Seuss Books, Theres a background looks like pink.
Music/Sounds: The opening/closing theme to the show.
Availability: Should still show up when DFE shows and specials from the late 70s are reran, as it is in-credit and usually left alone.
Scare Factor: Minimal.
3rd Logo (1969-1971)
Nickname: "Blue Background", Spining Bottles
Logo: We see a Blue Background, He Bouncing ther logo and the bottles were spins.
FX/SFX: The "DFE" , Coca Cola Logo and the white text says A COCA COLA COMPANY, / and Bounces and the flowing colors.
Cheesy Factor: None
Music/Sounds: Sounds Like The Viacom Pinball Logo.
Availability: Rare. It appears on early Apperes the low tone
Scare Factor: Low to medium. Some may be caught off guard by the abrupt change in color or by the Viacom pinball theme.
