1st Logo

(December 13, 1993)

Nicknames: "Arrival", "The Most EPIK First Words"

Logo: We see the words fading in one-by one: "For the past 7 years, digital sounds haven't changed a lot." After a while, they fade out and new white text fades in one-by one: "We have now made the most highest quality sound system for Digital Sound...". That text fades out and after 15 seconds we see the metallic text "EPIK" zooming in slowly. The words "DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM" fades in at the bottom of the logo.

FX/SFX: Text fading in and the logo zooming in.

Music/Sounds: When the logo appears, we see a male person saying: "The following film contains sound at the highest quality for digital sound... Powered by EPIK." This is called as the "EPIK Voice", which is one of the most recognized sound trademarks.

Availability: Extremely rare. Debuted and only seen on the 1993 VHS release of The Adventures of Milo and Otis.

Scare Factor: Medium. The silence at the 1st half of the logo, and the logo zooming in is very scary for some people, but this is not as scary as the THX logo.

2nd Logo

(Spring 1994-2007, 2010-present)

Nicknames: "The Rectangle"

Logo: A blue outlined rectangle fades in. Then the "EPIK" text from before fades in, the outline fades out and finally the words "DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM" fade in.


  • 1994-1996: The "EPIK" text fades in faster.
  • 1999: The voice was redone with better quality.
  • 2000: Probably the most recognizable EPIK trailer variant. Appeared on a lot of VHS's and DVD's during 2001-2007. Before the apperance of the logo, the text "Best Digital Sound... Now On VHS" or "Best Digital Sound... Now On DVD" in Arial font in white, arranged in the center of the outline fades in and out. "DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM" is replaced by just "DIGITAL SOUND". Those texts fade in with the EPIK logo instead of appearing after the blue outline disappears.
  • The logo's sometimes seen with "DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM" only. This appeared on Universal Pictures Home Video releases from around 1997-2000, and surprisingly on the 2004 DVD release of Drawing City.
  • When you turn on a 2002-2004 EPIK-optimized Matshusonic DVD/VHS player for the first time, the 1990 variant with the logo plays, but the text is replaced with "Your Matshusonic DVD/VHS Player Is EPIK-Optimized", with "Matshusonic" in it's original font. Also, the text "Enjoy Cinema-Like Sound" fades in below the logo and texts. There's no HAL Voice in this variant.
  • 2010: The logo is remastered/recreated. The blue rectangle is larger and glows, the "EPIK" text glows and shines slowly, and the texts at the top and bottom of the logo doesn't appear. The 2nd variant of the EPIK voice is used. Ocassionally, a copyright notice may appear below.
  • On some releases by ToonMountain Entertainment and Random Cartoon Studios, the logo is cut short to the part where the EPIK text appears. This variant also uses the 2nd variant of the EPIK Voice.
  • From 2002-2016, an alternate version appeared where the original text ABOVE (and above only) the EPIK logo was "DIGITAL SOUND" This was officially replaced with the "DIGITAL SOUND ON VIDEO". This could be seen on some 2002-2016 movies on DVD such as Heavy and The Stupid but Awesome Flipnote Movie!. 
  • On the 2003 VHS of Oh Boyo No!, the 2000 variant appears as usual, but with a difference: the message reads "Remastered for Digital Sound Playback", then the text fades out, the EPIK logo appears, but the wording "DIGITALLY OPTIMIZED" appears under EPIK. The logo shines, and the blue rectangle fades out.
  • There may be either the words "DIGITAL", "DIGITAL ON VIDEO", "Digiphonic Sound", "DIGITAL FOR YOUR HOME" or just "SOUND" appearing in the bottom left corner at the end.
  • On the 2007 VHS of Heavy 2: Crash the Warfare, the 2000 variant appears as usual, but the words "With EPIK Digital, now you can experience cinema-like sound at your home." appear replacing the "Best Digital Sound... Now On DVD" text.

FX/SFX: Everything.

Music/Sounds: First it uses a swoosh sound when the rectangle draws. Then it would use one of these EPIK Voice variants:

Variant 1: Same as before.

Variant 2: The person now says: "The following film contains sound at the highest quality powered by EPIK."

Availability: One of the most common EPIK logos ever. It appears on many VHSs or DVDs with EPIK Digital Sound. Also available online. The 2000 variant made a surprise appearance when HBO aired Heavy on September 6, 2008. Until the 2nd airing on 10/13/2015, the 2000 version appeared on The CW's earlier print of Heavy 2: Crash the Warfare, which plastered the Johnny Guitar Can trailer used on the original disc. The 2010 variant debuted on the same year's release of Inverted Paradox and I Can't Go To Pre-K Normally!.

Scare Factor: None to Minimal.

3rd Logo


Nickname: "Vortex"

Logo: We see a white background, then a conductor's hand appears in that box and flicks his baton, blasting out a blue "hyperspace". It turns red, and when it fully turns red, we see a 3D EPIK logo zoom towards us against a black screen with red dots. Then, we see some text saying "Enjoy Digital Sound" in the same font and color used in "The Rectangle". A few seconds, a subtitle reading "Analog Sound VHS Sound System" fades in too. 


  • There may be either the words "DIGITAL", "DIGITAL SOUND" or just "SOUND" appearing in the bottom-left corner at the end.
  • On later relases, the logo was cut short to the middle.
  • When you turn on a 2004-2005 HAL-optimized Matshusonic DVD player for the first time, we see the text "Your Matshusonic DVD Player Is EPIK-Optimized", with "Matshusonic" in it's original font fading in and out, then the logo plays as normal.
  • On some releases during 2002-2005, the text "DIGITALLY OPTIMIZED" appears and zooms like the logo, and both things shine.


An orchestra warms up, then a bang followed by a dramatic orchestra tune. When the EPIK logo appears, the EPIK Voice from the 2nd variant of the plays, and finally a whoosh.

For the Matchusonic and 2002-2005 variants, a nice orchestral piece done by Ram Hither. We hear an orchestra warming up at the start, then a different dramatic orchestra tune, and finally a beautiful composition when the EPIK logo appears. The same whoosh is heard as the EPIK logo zooms in. This music was also used in the Vortex trailer shown at the end of the EPIK New Millenium (2000) feature.

Availability: This became the first alternate HAL trailer to be used in 2008, beginning with the original VHS release of Dumb Guy 2. The Digitally Optimized variant can be seen on Oh No; There's Some Bicycle Stealers, Heavy 3: Return to the Base or you're Dreaded, Weldon Holiday Party, Five Nights at Jaydens, and others (commonly seen on Universal/Columbia/Fox flicks). The only Digitally Optimized release that don't use the logo is the 2013 release of Heavy 4: Welcome to the Space, Bro, instead, it used the previous logo. Still seen on CBS airings of LOL Time.

Scare Factor: Low.

4th Logo

(May 23, 2004, 2006-2007)

Nicknames: "Jay TV", "Eddybross' Problem With EPIK"

Logo: We see the TV screen, before Jaybross, Felipebross, Lily and Eddybross sit in their chairs. The light dims, and then brightens a bit. Then we cut to the screen, then a white screen with "EPIK" on it (not the same as the other logos) appears, with "DIGITAL" and "BEST DIGITAL SOUND...NOW ON DVD"/"BEST DIGITAL SOUND...NOW ON VHS" under it. The sound makes Eddybross scream and go out of the room (or house, but it is shown off-screen). We cut to the same screen, with the logo on it. The speaker whoops, and the screen fades out. Jaybross yells "Where's Eddybross?" twice, the whole picture goes to black, and Felipebross responds, "Jay, i think that voice made him scream."

Variant: A variant was shown where the rectangle is drawn, then it fades to the TV screen and the logo animates as normal.

FX/SFX: Light dimming and brightening.

Music/Sounds: The atmosphere, dialogue, and the EPIK Voice from the first logo.

Availability: This was originally made for an episode of Jay TV, but later EPIK wanted to use the animation as one of their logos/trailers. Appeared later on DVDs from 2006-2007, including the first print of Jay Movie 2.

Scare Factor: None to minimal. Jay TV fans may like this.

5th Logo


Nicknames: "Johnny"

Logo: The EPIK trailer starts as usual, which then breaks down as if due to an electrical failure. A light is switched on as a stickfigure named Johnny walks in from off-camera. Jonathan opens a panel on the "K", grabs a rocket pack, and flies off screen, pulling out a hammer just before he goes off screen, muttering "Oh, boy.".. Johnny hammers at something on the right side of the screen, drills at something on the left side and then flies over to the E and moves a large switch. The switch causes the logo to re-activate and complete its usual sequence with the "DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM" text. Johnny realizes the door in "L" is still open. Johnny kicks the logo, which shuts the door, causing a black screen to fall reading "Enjoy great sound... you're watching a EPIK-powered feature".


  • On some discs and VHSs, the messages from The Rectangle Trailer, which are "Best Digital Sound... Now On VHS"/"Best Digital Sound... Now On DVD", or "Remastered for Digital Sound Playback" appears without the blue rectangle outline. Then, the animation plays as usual. Between 1994 and 1997, the "Sound System" title appears under EPIK. Once after 1997, the "Sound System" name was no longer seen.
  • There is an extended version in which after Johnny drills something, he starts to saw and then yells "Ow". The rest of the logo plays like normal. This only appears on Warner Bros. Demo Cassette 2005 and the original 2017 DVD of Inverted Paradox 2: The Enemy Within.
  • On the EPIK Vimeo page and DVD releases such as Centipede Man, the black screen that reads "Enjoy great sound... you're watching a EPIK-powered feature." is replaced with the EPIK website URL. The "DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM"  text is absent.

FX/SFX: Advanced CGI for 2004, made by Chanceworks Animation.

Music/Sounds: The EPIK Voice in a lower pitch, Johnny's dialouge, and sounds corresponding to the animation. The sound design is by Jon Lothaz, according to The EPIK Biography. See "Logo" for the rest.

Availability: Cin EPIK Certified animated movies, but it can be available on some Miramax movies such as Pulp Fiction, and some EPIK demo VHS. Seen online as well.

Scare Factor: None to minimal, though some might consider the subject matter funny.

6th Logo

(2005-Early 2011)

Nicknames: "Johnny 2", "Guitar Can", "Guitar", "Johnny Strikes Again"

Logo: We see Johnny the Stickfigure from the previous logo, as he appears out of nowhere right in front of us. He has a can in his hand which has a picture of a Guitar on a field and says "music note here" (which is in a bubble cloud), and the only way we see it is that Johnny zooms it up towards us closer. He takes it back, and turns it upside down, and dips it, realizing the can is empty. After flipping it right side up again, Johnny gives us a "one minute" signal, and flies away. In the meantime, while we see nothing but the background, we hear him gathering something as he then returns with the "guitar can". This time, however, he also has a plug in his opposite hand, and plugs it into the can. After that, we hear the sound of guitar making music, and, beside that, the EPIK logo appears sliding up from the middle of the screen to nearly the top. Johnny points to the text, but suddenly the EPIK logo begins to glow. Johnny sees this, and he nervously flies off with the can and the plug. The EPIK logo jolts to the left side for a moment before going back to it's normal position. And, like the last logo, the black screen with the text "Enjoy great sound... you're watching a EPIK-powered feature" falls to the screen.


  • On some occasions, the EPIK logo is already seen at the very beginning of the logo before the animation begins, which means that in this variant, Jonathan is basically doing all of his animation right in front of the company's text. And, on a few alternate occasions between 2005 and 2009, the Digital Sound System text was seen on top of EPIK; then the screen falls as usual, but replaces "Enjoy great sound... you're watching a EPIK-powered feature" with "Enjoy digital sound. You're now watching a EPIK-powered feature."
  • In 2008, when Monster Cable joined EPIK, it's exactly the same trailer. When Jonathan gets the cord, the camera zooms in to reveal a Monster cable. When he plugs it in, the graphics on the guitar can change it into a Monster Cable Guitar Can. "MONSTER" in it's trademark 3-D font fades and slides up to the top at the same time as the EPIK logo. When the EPIK Logo rumbles, the Monster Cable logo rumbles and the black screen shows the EPIK Monster Cable logo in white and the trademark in white.

FX/SFX: Same as 5th logo.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo, except the EPIK Voice is replaced by a guitar making sounds (if you really listen carefully, a high pitched note is heard towards the end of the sounds, which sounds like someone yelling "START!" before the sound of lighting up). The sound design is by Jon Lothaz and Sherri Andrews (who did the guitar chord) according to The EPIK Biography DVD by Random Home Entertainment. A variant of the Monster Cable EPIK version uses some electrical sounds from Power Company, which Jon Lothaz also did the sound design of.

Availability: Maybe still seen in DVD discs. Can be seen on films (such as Weldon Guys, The Stupid but Awesome Flipnote SEQUEL and Don't Be A Meance To South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood DVD), MGM films (such as Pink Panther Complete Movie Collection, Happy Wheels I and III, and Transformations), EPIK demo DVDs, and even the DVD of Just Doodles (plastered by the 2000 version of The Rectangle on the first televised airing of that film on Nick). A variant is also on the Heavy Collection DVD series. Seen on EPIK's Vimeo page as well.

Scare Factor: None to low, although it's meant to be funny.

7th Logo


Nicknames: "Let's Hear It"

Logo: We see a pitch black screen (ala the 1984 "Chinatown" logo), then we see the text "Let's hear it in EPIK" appearing in separate words zooming in the center of the screen. Then we see the EPIK logo with the Digital Sound notice at the bottom of EPIK. The logo shines and we fade-out.

FX/SFX: The words zooming-in at the screen.

Cheesy Factor: It may seem cheesy to some, especially with the animation, but it depends.

Music/Sounds: The short version of the EPIK Voice with swooshes.

Availability: Seen in a very few EPIK-equipped DVD releases of the year. These include Orbithree, Why I Don't Knock The Door, The Best Field Trip and Piper.

Scare Factor: None to minimal. It may be boring for everyone if the EPIK Voice was not included.

8th Logo


Nickname: "Orb"

Logo: In a darkly-lit environment, a blue sphere zooms out, which has clouds rolling and lightning flickering inside it. As the environment illuminates, we see that the sphere is barely hovering over a textured blue floor. Suddenly, the sphere shatters, and the sky is revealed to contain several rolling gray clouds. The glass then liquifies and gathers in the center. Some lightning strikes it and forms a silver EPIK logo. Then, the environment fades to black as a shimmering blue rectangle is drawn clockwise around it. The logo fades out as the URL of the EPIK website fades in. 


  • There is an early variant where the EPIK web address is absent.
  • On the 2006 release of The Aaron Movie 3, the Aaron Show logo appears as it zooms to us. Then, as the usual animation for this logo, the box shatters. Water erodes from the ground, and the HAL logo appears as usual, forming from the water. After that, the EPIK logo fades out, and then the words "With EPIK Digital, now you can experience cinema-like sound on your home." appear one by one as each text fades out before the other. This is also on the 2000 release with some differences: the EPIK logo looks slightly different, the "DIGITAL" and "SOUND" (a la Rectangle '00) are replaced with "CERTIFIED SOUND," and the URL with a copyright notice appears below after that.
  • On some releases, after the HAL logo fades out, the text "Enjoy great sound. You're now watching a EPIK-powered feature." appears in the blue line.
  • On the 2006 DVD of Heavy: Special Edition and the 2007 VHS of I Don't Know U, "Best Digital Sound... Now On VHS" or "Best Digital Sound... Now On DVD" appears replacing the "Enjoy great sound. You're now watching a EPIK-powered feature." text.
  • At one point from 2006, "Digital Sound" was seen (exactly the way it was in the 2000 Rectangle variant) above the EPIK logo. This was only used in the Random Country release from the year.
  • On the 2011 releases of Brossville, Universal Demo Disc, and Never, Not and No, the logo fades out before we get to the "Enjoy great sound. You're now watching a EPIK-powered feature." text.

FX/SFX: Just top-notch CGI.

Music/Sounds: Thunderclaps/electric shocking sounds, followed by glass shattering, then the EPIK Voice with some reverb. A swoosh is heard as the rectangle is formed.

Availability: Seen on several EPIK discs such as The Humor Club, Sam Toes, Big Nate, Mr. Strong, Paramount Demo Disc 2007, and X-Men (debut). It was also used as the intro to the EPIK Biography film.

Scare Factor: Low to high, due to the sphere shattering all of a sudden, in addition to the presence of the reverbed EPIK Voice.

9th Logo


Nickname: "Mr. Strong"

Logo: The EPIK logo starts up like any other, but the logo suddenly crashes down revealing Mr. Strong and Willie taking the role of the EPIK Voice with their voices. The two stare at each other awkwardly, then raise the logo back up. The EPIK Voice starts again and the logo shimmers in red from left to right. While the EPIK Voice is playing, Willie comes out and plays a explosion over it. Mr. Strong yells "Willie!" at him, and the two walk off-screen. The screen fades to black as the words "illuminate your digital senses" fades in on the top, a smaller EPIK logo in the middle, and copyright info on the bottom.

FX/SFX: The logo itself, and the animation involving Mr. Strong and Willie.

Music/Sounds: The EPIK Voice, the instruments, and the dialogue.

Availability: Extinct. It was not seen on the original DVD release of Mr. Strong(as the previous logo is used), however it eventually debuted in 2008/2009 with the 2nd DVD release of it. It was seen on the original 2006 international VHS release of that film and is also available on the EPIK website.

Scare Factor: Low. Someone may find this logo amusing.

10th Logo


Nickname: "20th Anniversary"

Logo: On a black background we see out-of-focus movie clips on a EPIK logo. Some of these clips include Water Wave Escapers, Awesome Movie and Animalized. The logo then starts to shine as the words "DIGITAL SOUND" appear under the EPIK logo. Everything fades out and is replaced by copyright notices on the bottom and the phase "Celebrating 20 Years of the best Digital Sound".

FX/SFX: The clips playing on the EPIK logo, the shining at the end.

Music/Sounds: In this order, sound clips from the following movies are heard:

  • Apocalypse Now (Redux Version)
  • Jurassic Park
  • Die Hard
  • Jurassic Park (again)
  • Nightmare on Elm Street
  • Star Wars: Episode I 
  • Fight Club
  • Alien
  • Star Wars: Episode I (again)
  • Pulp Fiction
  • Back To The Future trilogy
  • Lord of The Rings trilogy
  • The Fast and the Furious
  • Speed
    • And then a customized version of the EPIK voice.

Availability: Uncommon. Was only seen on 2013 releases on DVD and VHS such as Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island: 15th Anniversary Edition, Water Wave Escapers, and The Humor Club 2.

Scare Factor: Minimal. It's a great addition to the EPIK library of logos.

13th Logo


Nicknames: "Johnny 3", "JOHNNY In Action", "The Car", "Johnny Strikes Yet Again"

Logo: On a gray background, we see a clapperboard on screen. The clapperboard claps, and then disappears off-screen. The camera then zooms out and turns, revealing the background to be a gray car. Johnny flies on screen and stops in front of the car, giving a "stop" signal. Johnny then tries to fly away, but ends up getting sucked into the car. He gets flung around the VHS player uncontrollably, and is eventually able to stop and regain his balance. He then looks up, and sees part of the car spraying. After spraying for a few seconds, it explodes, and Johnny gets covered in black ash. Another part of the engine then pushes Johnny up, and he gets chased by another explosion. He manages to escape from the car just in time, but then he loses control, and hits the EPIK logo. He then stands back up, shakes his arms and foot, looks back at the EPIK logo, and does a pose.

FX/SFX: Same as the 6th and 7th logos.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 6th and 7th logos, with the addition of some car sounds, and a guy saying "And...action!" when the clapperboard is on screen. There's also a different variant of the EPIK Voice, saying "This is powered by EPIK."

Availability: Seen on EPIK certified cars until 2011. Was also seen on the 2016 DVD of Bearman.

Scare Factor: Same as the 7th logo.

14th Logo


Nickname: "Plant Sounds"

Logo: We start out with an octagon shape figure rising out of liquid (a la a ripple effect), and forms into another figure, which looks like petals from a flower (in fact is a blue passion flower) because we're looking at it from the top. Inside the "flower" is a crown shape figure that has wings on top of it, slowly spinning around, producing the held organ note sound, as we zoom in on it. Then, the scene changes. We now see another set of wings that also spin around, but faster. A ring is spinning around with it and goes down towards the bottom of the screen, producing the buzzer. And the scene changes again. The same set of wings from the first scene is shown, once again spinning slowly, with shades seen on the left side of the screen. As the scene changes again, a tulip is seen zooming in towards us as it opens up it's front, producing the deep brass sound. Then we zoom in on a mushroom as it bumps up a bit and makes drum beats. Then a set of butterflies fly by (with some stopping in front center of the screen), producing some flapping sound, we see the flowerhead-like plant with dragonfly wings as petals, it pushes one-by-one clockwise, making dolphin chirping sounds, then we a lotus seed head opening and closing its holes as it makes a melody played on glockenspiel. Intact with the drumbeats of the jingle, we see a variety of mushrooms as they "beat" and bump up the the drumbeats, and then the scene changes to swirly-like circles which vibrate, as we zoom from one to another, making the bass horn stab. We zoom into another tulip, making another deep brass sound, and suddenly, we fly over all of the above mentioned items. As the camera tilts toward the front and zooms back, we see the plant-covered structure evolve to the EPIK logo. This version looks slightly (but also noticeably) different than the other trailers of the past. The text zooms back.

FX/SFX: Mind-blowing CGI, which was made by Eyestorm Productions with much accuracy.

Music/Sounds: A variety of instruments playing in sync with each plant, performed by Lost in the Sky. When the copyright fades in, a quieter and more happier version of the EPIK Voice plays.

Availability: Seen in most EPIK DVDs such as Toonland, Bluhead: The Movie, R-Force, and Gigan: The Movie, Available in EPIK's Vimeo as well. This was also seen on the Blu-Ray and VHS releases of Inverted Paradox 2: The Enemy Within, but the Johnny EX logo appears on the DVD.

Scare Factor: None to low. Some parts can be sudden for some people, but this is a fan-favorite due to the brillant animation and happier-sounding EPIK Voice (which sounds emotional in the other logos).

15th Logo


Nickname: "We Got The Flavor" 

Logo: We first see a pitch black screen, but then we see the words "WE GOT THE FLAVOR OF DIGITAL SOUND" (in capital letters) coming at us each two words at a time (like the "Let's Hear It" logo), then suddenly fading out by spreading the words apart. Then, the EPIK logo appears. With its usual gray color, the logo shines with a "shinemark" coming down on the "E".

Variant: On the 2008 DVD of Public Secret, the text "Enjoy great sound. You're now watching a EPIK-powered feature." (from the Aaron variant of the Orb logo) appears replacing "WE GOT THE FLAVOR OF DIGITAL SOUND".

FX/SFX: "WE GOT THE FLAVOR OF DIGITAL SOUND" text spreading out, the shinemark, and the EPIL logo shining.

Music/Sounds: The EPIK Voice and some shining sounds. Before the EPIK Voice starts, a deep whoosh is heard.

Availability: Can be seen on the DVDs of Heavy I and II: Collector's Editon, Movie: The Movie, Spirited Away, and other DVD releases from the time.

Scare Factor: Low. It's a nice follow-up to the Rectangle logo.

16th Logo


Nickname: "Awesome Sequel" 

Logo: On a black background, we see this odd speck that talks in a familiar voice to Madison. It gets closer.... and... closer... OH! It's just two characters Jay and Tom. They talk about if they can hear each other. Then, Tom says "Kinda losing ya", causing the EPIK logo to drop down, and Jay shouts "HOW ABOUT THIS?!?! I'VE GOT HIM REAL CLOSE!!! CAN YOU READ ME?!?!" knocking both of them off-screen, then followed by the EPIK Voice, then the screen transitions to a message reading "ENJOY GREAT AWESOMENESS...YOU'RE NOW WATCHING A EPIK-POWERED FEATURE" (spoofing the "Enjoy great sound. You're now watching a EPIK-powered feature" motto, with "Awesomeness" in the same font as the movie's logo). On the side of the screen we see Tom and Jay peeking out of the side of the screen, with cloths blowing from the EPIK Voice.

FX/SFX: The characters moving, and the EPIK logo dropping. This was done by Chanceworks Animation.

Music/Sounds: The characters talking, a crash, and the EPIK Voice.

Availability: Uncommon. It was only seen on the DVD of Awesome Sequel.

Scare Factor: Low bordering on medium. The "CRASH!" sound and the EPIK Voice might startle a few, but it's intended to be funny, just like the Johnny ones.

17th Logo

The EPIK logo glows and makes a big shine with some sparkles. Then below the EPIK logo is the disclaimer: "EPIK and the EPIK logo are trademarks of EPIK Digitala Sound Inc., which may be registered in some jurisdictions. All Rights Reserved."

Variant: When you first boot up EPIK TiVo's, the metallic outlines fade in quicker, the shiny silver color fades in slower, and the shine of the EPIK logo isn't as bright.

FX/SFX: The glowing, sparkling, and shining of the Epik logo.

Music/Sounds: The long version of the EPIK Voice.

Availability: Can be seen on Fox Demo Disc 2009, Happy Wheels 2: Legend of Dumb Camp on DVD, and whenever you start up a EPIK-optimized TiVo.

18th Logo


Nickname: "Rectangle HD", "The EPIK Rave" 

Logo: On a deep cloudy background, we see a light tunnel of many colors as well as a shadow in the distance. The shadow then emerges to reveal a silver and shining EPIK logo as well as a crystal blue rectangle outline from the Rectangle trailers, which zoom slowly at us. A small copyright notice is seen below the HAL logo.

FX/SFX: The colorful light tunnel, the emerging of the logo.

Cheesy Factor: The whole logo has way too much shining and color clashes, but it may look better in HD then it does in SD.

Music/Sounds: An early 2000's eurodance song, then it crossfades to the EPIK Voice.

Availability: Can be found on the EPIK Optimizer DVD and some Live-Action movies, like the special edition DVD of Landon's House.

Scare Factor: Mimimal. The 1st half of the logo makes you want to dance.
