1st Logo (1955-1961)

Nickname: "The Emoji Face I"

Logo: On a blue sky with grass hills, we see a 3D emoji face that turns his face to see the text. Then it zooms out to see "Emoji Face" (in a white tall font) is on the ground.

Variant: A B/W or sepia variant exists.

FX/SFX: The face turning, the camera zooming out. Super-early 3D animation.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic xylophone-led fanfare which sounds similar to the 1975 Paramount Television logo but extended.

Availability: Seen on EF-produced shows from 1955 to 1961.

2nd Logo (1961-1966)

Nickname: "The Emoji Face II"

Logo: On a red background, we see an emoji face. Then it fades to the screen reading in bold, italic letters:

Variant: Like the first logo, a B/W or sepia variant exists.

FX/SFX: The fading.

Music/Sounds: A happy tune followed with an announcer saying "An Emoji Face presentation". Sometimes, no announcer.

Availability: TBA. It's still used in DVD prints now.

3rd Logo (1966-1969)

in orange with red trails. The emoji face is in place of the "o".

Music/Sounds: None or the closing theme of the TV show.

Availability: Seen on EF-produced shows from 1969 to 1972.

Editor's Note: This logo SCREAMS in the 60's, and it looks quite cheesy too.

5th Logo (1972-1976)

Nicknames: "Pinball", "Emoji Face's Answer to The Viacom Logo I"

Logo: Same as the 1971 Viacom Pinball logo, but the text reads "EMOJI FACE" and then into "AN EMOJI FACE PRESENTATION".

FX/SFX: Same as the 1971 Viacom logo.

Music/Sounds: The Viacom “Pinball” theme.

Availability: Seen on EF-produced shows from 1972 to 1976.

Nicknames: "Emoji Face VII", "Emoji Face's Answer to The Viacom Logo II", “Face of Doom”, “The Emoji Face V of Doom Parody”

Logo: Same as the Viacom “V of Doom” logo, but the emoji face from before replaces the V and the text reads “AN EMOJI FACE PRESENTATION”.

Variants:

  • Both versions such as videotaped and filmed exists.
  • A warp-speed version exists to the videotaped one.
  • A B/W variant exist. Some prints from the filmed version is either dark or bright.

FX/SFX: Same as the 1976 Viacom logo.

Music/Sounds: The Viacom “V of Doom” music. Alters to the warp-speed version.

Availability: Seen on EF-produced shows from 1982 to 1988.

Nickname: "Emoji Face VIII", “The Face of Steel”, "Emoji Face's Answer to The Viacom Logo III”

Logo: Same as the Viacom "V of Steel" logo, but the face replaces the V once again, and the text reads "Emoji Face" instead of "Viacom".

FX/SFX: Same as the 1986 Viacom logo.

Music/Sounds: The Viacom “V of Steel” music. Alters to the warp-speed version.
