Background[]

In March 1989, Foxtastic Productions was first founded as Fox TV Productions. At first, it wasn't a very well known company as its first few shows it made (all for Nickelodeon) were failures. None of them made it past one season. 1992 was the year where Fox TV debuted their current mascot, Foxy, and released its first successful show, The Color Pixies. It turned out to be a hit amongst young children and soon, Fox TV was releasing many shows that had huge success. Then in 2008, Fox TV quietly shutdown production because of News Corporation, the then-current owners of the Fox Broadcasting Company and 20th Century Fox, filing a cease and desist order against their name for copyright infringement. It wasn't until January 2010 where Fox TV was bought by Corus Entertainment and rebranded as Foxtastic Productions. In March 2022, Foxtastic bought the rights to the Qubo name from the E.W. Scripps Company and revived the channel in September of that year.

FoxTV Productions[]

1st Logo (1989-1992)[]

FoxTV Productions (1989)

Visuals: On a black background, a realistic fox walks in from the left. Above the fox are the words "FoxTV Productions" in white.

Technique: Stop motion cut-out animation.

Audio: A Moog synthesizer tune.

Legacy: This logo is infamous for its eerie synth music and limited animation, so much so that it ranks among the Viacom "V of Doom", the Screen Gems "S from Hell", and the Klasky Csupo "Super Scary Face" as one of the most infamous "scary" logos in the community, earning it the unofficial nickname "Super Creepy Fox".

2nd Logo (1992-2008)[]

FoxTV Logo

Visuals: On a hot pink background, a cartoony fox (Foxy, the then-newmascot of the company) pops up from the bottom of the screen. Above the fox are the words "FoxTV Productions" in cyan. The fox snickers.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A slide whistle when Foxy appears, followed by her Muttley-like snicker.

Foxtastic Productions[]

Logo (2010-present)[]

Foxtastic Productions

Visuals: On a light yellow background, a present wrapped in periwinkle/pink striped paper and tied with a bow is shown shaking in the middle of the screen. Suddenly, a redesigned version of Foxy pops out of the present, the lid of which slides off her head to the left. The words "Foxtastic Productions!" appear above in baby blue. Not long after, Foxy says "This has been a Foxtastic Production!" in a chipmunk's voice.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A shaking sound, a popping sound, the Microsoft Windows 98 "Tada" sound, and the fox's dialogue.

Availability: Seen at the end of virtually all of Foxtastic's series since its revival in 2010. Logo Friends, G&Jtv, Numpty and Friends, Lights! Camera! Action!, Bubble and Friends, Sally's Good Morning Show, Catch! Object: Objects of Emotion, The Pixel Show!, Franchise Academy and The Pamp Squad are just some of Foxtastic's many productions that use this logo.
