Background: Although many people think it was SNAS' first company, it wasn't. FunnyToon Studios was founded in 1957 by Joeseph Clinton, the writer of the Cody The Cat comics. Located in beautiful Seatlle (which is also the hometown of SNAS, Inc.) is where it settles. It's most notable shows were "The Cody The Cat Hour" (1958-1970) and "The Adventures Of Penelope & Scruffy" (1963-1969). In the 1990s, just like SNAS, tried to gobble up Klasky-Csupo. In 1995, one year after SNAS stopped "The Cody & Penelope Hour", SNAS and FunnyToon tried merging, in which (of course) SNAS won the merger causing FunnyToon to be bought by SNAS. In 2002, it was said that this company's founder passed away, but the company was now run by his grandson, Kale Clinton. It is currently working on episodes of "Cody The Cat And Pals" and a motion picture adaption of Penelope. In 2013 after the release of the Penelope adaption, the company will sell itself to Argosy Media, which also has a grey cat star.

1st Logo (1957-1959)

Logo: Just in-credit text reading: Produced In Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. by: FunnyToon Studios Joseph Clinton - Producer

Variant: Only in 1957, this logo was in script font.

FX/SFX: The fading or whatever!

Music/Sounds: A show's closing theme.

Availability: Seen on The Cody The Cat Hour all the way back in 1958. The 1957 version is only seen on the unaired lost Cody The Cat pilot. It is lost because many nitrate prints have burned down. The pilot episode was recycled, but without this variant. The logo was never seen in color. Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo (1959-1965)

Logo: Cody's head is seen. Above him reads "Produced At FunnyToon Studios" below him reads "Made In Seattle, U.S.A." He looks like the cat seen in the russian filmThree From Buttermilk Village. (Which is a real film)

Music/Sounds: Same as 1st Logo.

Availability: Seen on The Cody The Cat Hour from 1959-1961 (In B/W) and 1961-1965 (Color). It was seen on The Adventures Of Penelope & Scruffy.

Scare Factor: Low. It may be because of the cat's sudden appearance.
