Adam's Dream Logos 2.0 - Adam's Closing Logos - Dream Logos Wiki

Background: Gaumontoran Animation was formed in 2009 as Gaumontoran-Sopahanim, after the later company was bought out by the former. It was renamed to its current name in 2013.

1st logo (1996-2000)

Logo: On a black background, there is a face made out of lines being drawn with a blue A and a crescent moon. The word "sopahanim" is formed by blue smoke.

  • On season 1 and 2 of Animal Crackers, face and the words are against a white box on a cyan and blue green gradient background.
  • On season 3 of said show, it's similar as before, but there's no box and the background is a darker color and stretches out more.
  • On season 1 of Mona the Vampire, it's the finished product of the animated version.

FX/SFX: The logo being formed or none.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show or none.

Availability: Uncommon. The still version is seen on season 1 episodes of Mona the Vampire on DVD, and Animal Crackers. The animated variant can be seen on the 1999 series Redwall.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo(1999-2002)

Logo: On a white background, we see a large black ink splatter. Inside the largest splatter is a very grungy version of the previous logo design, with "sopahanim" below it in a creepy font. The company website URL is seen below the splatter.

  • On The Baskervilles, the logo is below the Cinar logo against a black background, with the Citv URL in the bottom right.
  • On Mona the Vampire, the logo is more close up without the URL.
  • An in-credit version of the logo can be seen on Spaced Out.

FX/SFX: None.

Cheesy Factor: This logo seems to be trying way too hard to be edgy and grungy.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Rare. Seen on season 2 of Mona the Vampire.

Scare Factor: Low to high; the main reason is the grungy look of the logo. The end theme doesn't help, either. The scare factor can be much lower for those used to it.

3rd Logo

Logo: On a white background, we see an odd navy blue/sky blue swirly shape that criss-crosses at the very end of it, with 2 eyes in a hole in it, resembling an abstract fish. "sopahanim" is seen below it.

  • An animated variant appeared on Franklin and the Turtle Lake Treasure. On the same white background with a surface at the bottom, 2 eyes drop down from the top of the screen. They look around and blink. Then, the odd swirly shape is drawn in. Once it is done, the shape blinks and shines as "sopahanim" appears below.
  • An odd filmed variant of the animated version was spotted on a Polish 35mm print of the above film.
  • On season 6 of Franklin, the logo is on a black background.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show. The animated variant features droops and blinking sounds, prior to a slide-whistle going up, an upbeat xylophone theme, a squeak sound and a "ding".

Availability: Seen on the last season of Mona the Vampire, (debuted with the 2nd season of Mona Le Vampire) as well as other shows from the company during this period.

Scare Factor: None.

Logo: Superimposed in the opening credits, we see the Gaumontoran daisy logo combined with the Sopahanim logo from before. Below it is "A Gaumontoran-Sopahanim Production".

Variant: On Galactik Football for the NDS, the logo is on a white background, colored red, and each company name is placed in their normal spots in the logos.

FX/SFX: None, unless you count the opening credits of the show.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the show or none.

Availability: Seen on The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog.

Scare Factor: None.

Gaumontoran Animation

Logo: Basically the Gaumontoran print logo with "Animation" on the bottom right.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Closing theme of the show or none.

Availability: Seen on Atomic Puppet and F is for Family.

Scare Factor: None.
