Background: Girlwars Plc was founded by a group of ex-Warhog employees in 1997. Later, the company started to take over some studios like Atod (GirlWars Sweden), Fever Pitch (Girlwars Texas) and Zed Two. In 2004, GirlWars itself was purchased by Corus Entertainment and folded along with it soon. Key staff then formed a company that is now known as Fusion, a part of Stella Girl Games.
1st Logo
(1999-2003)
Nickname: "The Golden Robot" "That's no Girl"
Logo: On a black background, we see a 3D golden picture of a girl with a light streak on a face. Below, there's a word "GIRLWARS" made in custom font, also in gold.
Variant: On some games like King Pig: Invasion, we see see an angry Robot coming and crashing through the logo, angrily making Screeching noises. Then it jumps into us causing the screen to become black.
FX/SFX: None, only the fading. Sometimes it's completely still. The variant has an angry Robot crashing through the logo.
Music/Sounds: None. But on the variant, it has the sounds of a Robot Roaring
Availability: Uncommon, but can be seen on many games developed by Girlwars.
Scare Factor: Depending on Variant.
- None for the still version.
- Low to high for the variant, an angry robot can catch you off guard.
2nd Logo (Bloo and Goofy: Animal Trap Variant)
(2000)
Nickname: "The Stella Girl Productions Parody"
Logo: We see a black-blue gradient screen, which is a parody on the 1980-2007 Stella Girl Productions logo. Stella is replaced by a Robot, who moves, turns left and exhales the air from its nose causing breath to come out and drift off the screen. On the bottom string below, the usual word "Stella Girl Productions" is gone, and "Girlwars Development Group" is in place instead. No more indication about the company name is seen.
Trivia: The Robot on the Stella Girl parody logo looks similar to Splaat from the Klasky Csupo logo.
FX/SFX: The animation of the Robot moving and breathes out.
Music/Sounds: Same as the 1980-2007 Stella Girl Productions logo.
Availability: Seen on Bloo & Goofy: Animal Trap.
Scare Factor: None, it's even funny to hear the Robot Screetching
3rdLogo (2003-2004)
Nickname: "The Blue Robot"
Logo: On a black background, the familiar Robot from the 1st logo fades in, surrounded by the rays of light. Then, the white word "GIRLWARS" in usual font fades-in below the picture, with the light exhausting on its sides.
FX/SFX: Light effects around the Robot and the word.
Music/Sounds: A synth note, starting with a loud Robot Screetch, then a sound of word appearing.
Availability: Seen on Richard Doggy Rally, Battlestar Dogruders and Andy Griffin: Bounty Loaded.
Scare Factor: Low, because of the loud Screetch.
