Music/Sounds: A loud trumpet fanfare, which probably came from a track library since it's used in some other logos.
Availability: Rare. Seen on Kittenolivian prints of films from the era. It is sometimes plastered by the 1991 logo, or those of other companies on newer prints, such as Entertainment One. Also appears on KV theatrical trailers from the era.
Scare Factor: Medium; some may get scared by the loud fanfare coming on all of a sudden, as well as the light effects.
Nickname: "WHOOSH Happycat (of Doom)"
Logo: On a white screen, the Happycat head zooms-out from the center. As the camera zooms out, the word "ICHC" emerges from the front, and both plaster themselves into place. The text "PICTURES CORP." slides in from the ICHC name, as the background fades to black. Afterwards, the copyright stamp (in very small type here) fades onto the bottom of the screen. The finished logo then cuts to black.
Trivia: This logo would become the basis of the 1983 ICHC Television logo.
- 1982-1983: "AN ICHC COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY" and the copyright stamp replacing the byline a second later.
- 1983-1985: (Bylineless; just the copyright stamp appearing in)

Music/Sounds: It starts with a loud, long "whoosh". After the "whoosh" dies down, an 8-note synthesized tune plays, which is actually a pitched down version of Andy Clarke's "Moog Statement 14".
Music/Sounds Variant: There is a quiet (but not silent) version of the music.
Availability: Very rare. It's seen on most Kittenolivian releases of material from the Disney and CIC libraries from the era. Much of the back catalog was theatrically rereleased by ICHC in the mid-1990s. This can be found on Netflix Kittenolivia's print of ET. It was also seen at the start of an KTV2 broadcast of the 1985 film The Black Cauldron.
Scare Factor: Depending on the variant:
- Original Version: Medium to high. The loud whoosh, combined with the animation, eerie synth, and the dark text may scare some people. The scare factor is lower for those who are used to it.
- Quiet Variant: Low to medium.
Nicknames: "The Blue Laser", "Soothing Synth"
Logo: On a black background, a blue laser slowly travels upward from the bottom-center of the screen in a straight line up to the top. Multiple blue lines start appearing, with some coming from the left of the laser and some coming from the right, which eventually reveal the Happycat head. The white text "ICHC PICTURES" appears below.
FX/SFX: The laser drawing, the lines moving, and "ICHC PICTURES" appearing.
Cheesy Factor: Well, the logo itself is fine, but "ICHC PICTURES" suddenly appearing is pretty much cheesy. 1980s effects, by the way.
Music/Sounds: A synthesized "wah" sound rising up slowly in pitch and a 6-note trumpet tune and a synthesized drumbeat, followed by some synthesized ding notes and another trumpet, and a longer horn tune with 4 timpani beats.
Availability: Seeing as this company is Kittenolivian, this might be available on Kittenolivian prints of films distributed by the company, like maybe some PAL tapes of films during the time this logo was used.
Scare Factor: Low; the darkness of the logo, text appearing below suddenly, and sudden change of the music may spook some, but the logo is a favorite of many.
Nickname: "Vector Happycat"
Logo: First, the words "KITTENOLIVIA'S LARGEST FILM COMPANY" are shown, then the text transitions to a black screen with four parallel red and blue lines. Then two of the lines start to glow and shift, and then there are two parallel lines. Two "sparkles" move into the lines and disappear into the distance and flash, creating a blue outline of the ICHC logo, which is a smiling cat head with the text "ICHC PICTURES" below in Helvetica Bold font. The logo zooms forward as some light rays shine from it and "attract" a colored version of the logo (with white text and a gray-furred cat with a red mouth, white teeth, and yellow eyes). Finally, the ICHC logo is created and the lines start to fade away. The logo glows blue and shines.
FX/SFX: All the animation in the logo; not too bad for 1991.
Music/Sounds: A gradually rising new wave theme, with a bassline similar to Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax".
Availability: Common; available on ICHC releases of the era.
Scare Factor: Minimal; it may surprise you the first time you see it, but this is a favorite among many Kittenolivians.
Logo: On a space background, there is the moon in the up-right corner, and the sun in the up-left corner, with white clouds in the bottom-left corner. Then the camera pans to an unknown white planet, where the clouds come from. The camera pans to the planet, until the screen turns completely white from the clouds, then the black text "ICHC PICTURES" in Gill Sans Regular font, with the small text "A Carlton Communications Company" in the same colored font below, fades in, and zooms to us, then stops.
Variant: A color-inverted still version also exists.
FX/SFX: The panning, the zooming, and the text appearing.
Music/Sounds: A dreamy, space tune which then becomes a fanfare.
Availability: Common. Seen when you play Kittenolivian DVDs of films from the late 90s. The color-inverted still version appeared at the end of films.
Scare Factor: Low. This is a favorite of many, and the animation is excellent. Some people may be surprised by the lack of Happycat, however.
Nicknames: "Vector Happycat II", "Retraux Happycat"
Logo: A modern update to the 1991 logo, but with a bit more action. As with the 1991 logo, this one begins with "KITTENOLIVIA'S LARGEST FILM COMPANY" on a black screen. A white line goes through the middle of the background, and very brief flashes of the blue and red vector pattern in the previous logo can be seen. This white line becomes one of several that form a bright star. The camera pans over to the left, and the star collides with another star. As this happens, the parallel blue and red lines, as seen in the 1991 logo, are visibly moving in the background. After the stars' collision, a CGI Happycat head and white "ICHC PICTURES" move up into the center of the screen. A blue glow forms around the newly formed logo and the parallel lines in the background fade out.
FX/SFX: Similar to the 1991 logo, but updated for the modern era.
Music/Sounds: A re-done version of the 1991 logo's music, done in a more electro-disco style.
Availabilty: Current. Seen on some recent releases from the company.
Scare Factor: Minimal; it might surprise you, and the sudden choir may put some off, but it's a cool reimagining of the company's 1991 logo.
2015- (international only)
Nickname: "ICHC From Underwater"
Logo: Underwater, we see blue and gray rays shining and water rippling. We see bubbles rise up and fly freely. We pan up and zoom in (with some visible water spots) to reveal the full setting to be a forest at sunrise: there are pine (and other type of) trees with a few houses in front with grass and other trees and mountains in the background. We see gray haze (explaining the gray rays) swiveling through all this on the right, and the camera tilts a bit so the sun stays shining on the horizon. On the sky, we see a flock of birds flying north (The sun rises in the east). The haze now shows up to the right and moves like the filmstrips in the 1997 Medusa logo. The haze forms the CGI Happycat from the 2012 logo and also "ICHC PICTURES" below. The haze disappears and the logo shines.
FX/SFX: Mind-blowing CGI!
Music/Sounds: We hear strings and 15 mallet notes, then we hear a reorchestration of the 1986 music.
Availability: Current, outside of Kittenolivia. Can be seen on the company's exported productions.
Scare Factor: None. It's an amazing logo.
