Music World (1983-2000)[]
On a warm yellow background, we see a phonograph, it's needle drops down on a record with a blue center that has the MTV logo at the time on it, playing a country rock tune. The phonograph pavillon shoots out a cue ball, which then rolls down a fleet of piano keys, falls and slides down the gap between a neon blue double neck guitar with violet stars, it then bounces off three snare drums, and bounces off a piston of a trumpet and falls offscreen, bouncing off the trumpet pushes it down, we then pan torwards the trumpet's bell, which shoots out the MTV logo with note patterns on it, a staff then flies by and the blue text, "television" is on it, all in hand drawn animation.
Alpine M (1987-1995)[]
We see a mountain goat jumping on rocky ledges in a Switzerland like area, it then rams into a wall, causing an avalanche. It then puts on sunglasses and surfboards on it with a yellow surfboard that has a St. Bernard on it, leaving behing the dark blue and light indigo MTV logo where the snow fell, the text, "Music Television" then appears as ice freezing under the logo.
