1st Logo (1999-2006)
Nicknames: "Shining Kitten", "Kitten Constellation"
Logo: On a black background, we see the constellation of the kitten from the Kittens Gate Films logo. Below it is KITTENS GATE. Under it is "TELEVISION", in what appears to be stretched-out Myriad. The kitten flashes and shines.
FX/SFX: The flashing of the constellation.
Cheesy Factor: The flashing seems sped-up.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show. Quite often, this logo would have a synth theme.
Availability: Fairly common. It has been seen on MTM Family's Forest Fire. It's currently seen on reruns of The Pit of Doom on Misturee and local syndication and the first season of Grass on Prevue Channel.
Scare Factor: None.
2nd Logo (2002-2005)
Nicknames: "The Green Kitten", "Kitten Constellation II"
Logo: On a black background, we see the kitten from the first logo in green with the stars in yellow. On the left of the kitten says "KITTENS GATE" in Bernhard Modern and underneath in green says "ENTERTAINMENT" in a serif font.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: Just the end title-theme from any show.
Availability: Rare. Seen on Historic Mysteries occasionally on Argosy History. Also affixed to the end of documentaries made by Bedbug Productions(except syndicated reruns of Yelpir's Believe it or Don't!), such as the now-defunct Wolf Reality reruns of Caught on the Job and it's sequels.
Scare Factor: None.
3rd Logo
(2006- )
Nickname: "The Kittensgate Sky"
Logo: It's the 2nd half of the current Kittensgate Films logo.
Later Variant: In 2010, the Registered trademark symbol "®" was added.
FX/SFX: Just the camera zooming back from the logo.
Music/Sounds: Mostly it's the end-title theme from any show or silent. As of late 2010, it's a little sped-up version of the last notes of the theatrical logo.
Availability: Common. It's currently seen on God on Cloudz, Grass on Showcase and reruns on Prevue Channel, Nurse Jenny on Showcase, Crazy People on Argosy Drama, Crazy Racer: The Next Generation on DinosaurToons, Purple Mountain State on TV4Men, Angry on MTMX, and reruns of the final season of The Pit of Doom on Misturee. It was also seen on the short-lived TeeVee show Palm Reading, TV World's Chuck Norris vs. Jackie Chan, MTM Family's Forest Fire, and the short-lived seriesSmash on Clouds, among others.
Scare Factor: None.
