1st Logo[]
(May 23 2000- July 3 2001)
Logo: In a swamp, a huge swamp monster in the shape of a M appears covered in seaweed then a bigger TV monster eats the M one, then a bigger MOVIES one eats that one. Then a huge fish eats that one. In the stomach of the fish, the TV escapes from MOVIES, then the M does from TV, they all form the logo.
Music/Sounds: A brass trumpet tune, a horror sting happens when the fish appears.
FX/SFX: Stop Motion Animation from Angry Clay Films.
Availability: Exctinct, appeared on "Lake Beasts" and "Medical Killer."
Scare Factor: High, mainly due to the monsters and the horror sting.
But, to be honest, compared to what is coming next, this is NOTHING!
2nd Logo[]
(2003)
Warning: | This logo can cause seizures! |
Logo: On a flashing staircase, a pinball with the word MTV bounces down the stairs, when it reaches the bottom, it explodes with blue and yellow aura, the place then turns into a background with many wierd squares that sparkle. The text "M" appears above scribbled in yellow, with "TV" below, a yellow crane operator silhouette with the word "movies" appears below.
FX/SFX: CGI animation.
Cheesy Factor: The M looks quite grungy, also, did MTV even CARE for epileptics?
Music/Sounds: A fast echoing dubstep version of MTV's "Food for Thought" bumper music.
Availability: Seen on "The 80s Where Quite Wierd."
Scare Factor: Nightmare, the flashing, music, explosion, and grungy huge M can catch some off guard, and the music can give one bad memories of Food for Thought if they were ever scared of it.
3rd Logo[]
(2004)
Nicknames: "Grungy FrakenSkippy," "Return of the Monster!"
Logo: On a orange background, a rough, grungier version of FrakenSkippy walks onto the screen, before grabbing his chest, and ripping it off, the background then fades to black, the M heart turns into a normal white M in a FF blur font, tv appears next to it the same, then MOVIES fades in under the same.
FX/SFX: A mix of 2D and 3D animation, it is a good mixture, but...
Cheesy Factor:...FrankenSkippy, although intentional, looks too grungy.
Music/Sounds: A soft harp tune.
Availability: Seen only on "Hall of Eve" and "Hollow Heart."
Scare Factor: Nightmare, FrakenSkippy is back, also, grungier and creepier, he also does what he did previously, rip his heart out. High if you are used to it.
