Adam's Dream Logos 2.0 - Adam's Closing Logos - Dream Logos Wiki

Background: Mysterious Book Productions was a television production company that was originally founded in 1998 as a joint venture between Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (the producer of The Pizza Head Show) and Walter Williams (the director of said campaign), and was originally known as “Pizza Head Productions”. It first produced The Pizza Head TV Show (a television adaptation of The Pizza Head Show, which was an advertising campaign used by Pizza Hut from 1993 to 1997).

After The Pizza Head Show was cancelled in 2008, due to the ratings being dropped, Williams took full ownership in the company, and renamed it to “Mysterious Book Productions”.

Pizza Head Productions[]

1st Logo

Nicknames: “Pizza Head I”, “Well, That’s All For Today Kids. See You Next Time. I”

Logo: On a blue sky background, we see a red Looney Tunes-like ring with the company name around it, zooming in and spinning. Afterward, Pizza Head appears on the ring.

FX/SFX: The ring zooming in and spinning, Pizza Head appearing. Simple 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: An announcer saying “Well, that’s all for today kids. See you next time.”, which can be heard on The Pizza Head Show.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • On the The Pizza Head TV Show season 1 episode “No More Mr. Nice Steve”, the logo has the closing theme.
  • On Fox airings, the logo has Fox’s generic theme.

Availability: Extinct. Seen on seasons 1-4 of The Pizza Head TV Show, followed by the Pizza Hut Television logo.

Editor’s Note: The animation is so low-budget and very choppy indeed, and how did some amateur 10 year old managed to make this kind of “logo”?

2nd Logo

Nicknames: “Pizza Head II”, “Well, That’s All For Today Kids. See You Next Time. II”

Logo: On a green stripes background, we see the new and improved version of the logo.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Extinct. Seen on seasons 5-6 of The Pizza Head TV Show, followed by the Pizza Hut Television logo.

Editor’s Note: It’s a little improvement than the first logo, due to the lack of cheesiness.

Mysterious Book Productions[]

Nickname: “The Strange Book Opening”

Logo: We see a purple book on a wooden table. The book opens while the camera zooms in to the whole of the page, seeing that the page is a static background from your TV. In the static, we see the company name written in an American Typewriter font (used in white with a black shadow).

FX/SFX: The book opening to reveal a static-containing page, the camera zooming in.

Music/Sounds: A static sound fading in from the beginning.

Availability: Seen on Honey, Where’s My Car?! on Comedy Central, The Weird Universe on Adult Swim, and more shows produced by the company.

Editor’s Note: This logo is quite freaky for standards.
