NOTE: This is a real company, but this page has fake logos, including variants.
2nd logo
(June 14, 1990 - December 16, 2001)
Nickelodeon Movies (1990 - 2001) (Widescreen)
Logo: On a white background, a Nickelodeon splat (similar to the early Nicktoons logo) fades in. After a few seconds, a "Movies" text comes in by rotating the letters.
FX/SFX: The splat fading in and out, and the Movies text rotating.
Music/Sounds: Recycled network production music. The jingle has a person repeating the company name in a jazz style.
Availability: Seen on most movies from the era. When another logo was used, it was used on early VHS tapes and world premieres.
Editor's Note: This logo, although being criticized for being bland and boring, is also a favorite of many.
(June 3, 2011; My Life as a Teenage Robot: The Movie variant)
Logo: On a white background, we see various robotic pieces, they come together forming the Nickelodeon logo, and then the text, "M O V I E S" appears under the logo.
FX/SFX: The logo forming, and the text appearing. CGI animation.
Music/Sounds: Robot noises throughout the logo, followed by a chiptune version of the Nickelodeon theme.
Availability: Seen only on My Life as a Teenage Robot: The Movie.
Editor's Note: This logo fits perfectly for a movie based off of My Life as a Teenage Robot.
(2018-)
Logo: On a white background we see the 2012 Nickelodeon logo, then, a green 3D-animated dinosaur comes in and eats the letters one-by-one. He then gets full and spits out the logo, now with the words, "Movies" under the logo.
FX/SFX: CGI animation.
Music/Sounds: A dramatic cartoony jingle with the sounds of the dinosaur following it, along with a playful version of the Nickelodeon theme.
Availability: Common.
