Object Kids Home Video (formerly known as Object Play-Along Video) as a specialty brand of Object Home Video for kids-only releases on video.
Object Play-Along Video[]
1st Logo (1994-1997)[]
Visuals: On a white marble background, there is the text "OBJECT" in the same font, writing in the center. When it finishes, a blurry rainbow-colored ribbon wipes in, and then it flashes to reveal a banner with the text "PLAY-ALONG VIDEO", which is curved over the banner.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A synth-string-harp theme, with some techno-like beats at the end, composed by John Van Eps and Sam Sharp.
Availability: Seen on Aronson/Wynn/Longree-related videos that were released by MGM/UA Home Video, starring The Objects after the Object Home Video logo.
Object Kids Home Video[]
1st Logo (1998)[]
Visuals: Logo: On a white background, we see Abner the Baseball over the words “OBJECT” with Shell on top of the "C", except “Object” is orange the letters "Kids" in the Mansalva font, and “Home Video” is black. This logo is used as the print logo used for today.
Trivia: The logo was designed by co-founder Cameron Longree.
Technique: None.
Music/Sounds: None.
Availability: Extremely rare.
2nd Logo (1998-present)[]
Visuals: On a same space background for the current logo, Abner did the same idle and the words Object Home Video is still there while Shell runs to Abner and bumps it, he runs to him and does the same thing, before swinging it up and the stars form the words "Kids" under the word "Object". Then, he hugs him and they stare at the audience just like in the logo,
Trivia: Abner the Baseball and Shell was animated by Stephen Wynn.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A dreamy space-like theme same as the Nick Jr. Penguins ID with sounds of the objects running, and hugging, composed by John Van Eps and Sam Sharp.
Availability:
