Paramount Animation Television was the former television arm of the first incarnation of Paramount Animation Studios, a division of Paramount Pictures that went defunct in 2007 due to compulsory liquidation. The division notably produces animated series for Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, and Comedy Central. Currently, the division is based at Paramount Animation’s headquarters at Los Angeles, California, and is currently a division of CBS Studios, alongside Nickelodeon Productions. The division also operates a preschool subsidiary.
1st Logo (May 18, 2006)[]
Notably just a still graphic of the 1999 Paramount Animation Studios logo, which also includes the above byline that says “TELEVISION”.
Availability: Only seen on the 5-minute sneak peek of Over the Hedge that was aired on Bugs Kids.
2nd Logo (December 11, 2009-October 1, 2021)[]
A shortened version of the “97th Anniversary Reunion” logo.
Availability: Notably, it was used long after Paramount Animation Studios went defunct in 2007.
- This logo debuted on the CBS Christmas special Yes, Virginia.
- Also seen on SpongeBob SquarePants starting with its eighth season premiere, Fresh Beat Band of Spies, Brickleberry, and South Park starting with its fourteenth season premiere.
- This does not appear on any other subsequent shows from the division (including Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness and season 1 of The Loud House) despite Paramount Animation Television being involved with them.
- This also appears on the first 3 seasons of Blue’s Clues & You! (the logo’s final appearance).
3rd Logo (October 28, 2021-)[]
Normally a shortened version of the 2019 Paramount Animation logo.
Variant: A still version exists briefly.
Availability: Seen on Paramount+ animated original programming including Star Trek: Prodigy and Knuckles (which was a live-action series with some CGI characters that were not produced by Paramount Animation).
