Scare Factor: Medium. The loud fanfare and the vibration at the start can startle some. The darkness can raise the scare factor. Low to nightmare for the early variant, the brightness of the logo, the music, the in-your-face animation of the pyramid can scare some.
2nd Logo (1969-1972)[]
Nicknames: "The Rainbow Pyramid", "The Colorful Pyramid".
Logo: On the black background, a flash of rainbow light occurs, revealing a pyramid changing colors, glowing as usual. The word "Prismatic Entertainment presents..." fades in.

Music/Sounds: A emphasized version from the 1st logo's music.
Scare Factor: Low. The flash appearing can startle some but it's tamer than the 1st logo's early variant. The emphasized version of the 1st logo's music might surprise some.

- The red-tinted version has the fanfare being more slower and descends a bit.
Scare Factor:
- 1985 version: Low to nightmare. The loud fanfare can scare some.
- 1988 version: Medium to nightmare. The UFO tune kind of sounds creepy, and can scare viewers who weren't expecting the tune.
- Warped Version: High to nightmare. The fanfare sounds even scarier this time, along with the logo jittering and changing brightness, which is scary.
- Sped-up version: Low to nightmare, bordering on high. The fanfare seems faster which could scare some but it's tamer than those variants but it's DEFINITELY NOTHING compared what it follows...
- Red-tinted version: Nightmare. The creepy and slow-paced fanfare along with the red tint can unnerve some. The red tint can make an eyesore to some.
- Alternative Version: Medium to nightmare. The phaser noise along with the darkness can scare someone out.

FX/SFX: CGI for the 1993 version, and 2D animation for the 1995 version.
Music/Sounds:
- 1993 version: A dark space ambient. When the globe dissolves, a whooshing noise is heard that segues to booming whoosh sounds when it stops. A loud but very low-pitched "DING!" sound when the byline appears.
- 1995 version: A synth note rising, followed by a loud but quiet whoosh when the words connect together. When the flash of light appears, a short booming whoosh that segues to a space ambient tune.

- 1993 version: Medium to high. The sounds and the cheesy animation can catch you off-guard. However, it's lower for those who are used to it.
- 1995 version: Low to medium. The animation and the sounds might scare some, but it's tamer than the 1993 version.
