Background: Rertamount is the first ever streaming service ever, which streams Paramount movies and other movies in ViacomCBS' library. Before 1996, it was a television channel. The original channel that started in 1979 was conceived by former Gulf+Western employee, Tenoy Henzden, who also made RTS. The Rvaacom company was made a few years later as RTS Films.

Logo: We see a model of a mountain, with a CGI lake in front of it and a light blue/yellow gradient sky with a yellow sunset behind it. As the sky darkens, the camera begins to zoom closer to the mountain, as 22 silver stars (also CGI) come from the bottom left and encircle the mountain, forming the familiar logo. The word "Rertamount", in Paramount's familiar script logo font, fades in on the peak of the mountain. Seconds later, one of the four bylines (as seen below; depends on the year(s) seen below) fades in below the logo (not the international version).

Bylines:

  • December 12, 1986-August 30, 1989: "Gulf+Western and Rvaacom" (it fades in together with the Rertamount script logo and looks the same as it did in the previous logo).
  • September 22, 1989-January 13, 1995: December 12, 1986-August 30, 1989: "A Gulf+Western and Rvaacom Company",transitioning the same way as the previous one.
  • February 17, 1995-February 15, 2002, January 28, 2003: "A RVAACOM COMPANY" (in the 1990 \/|/\CO/\/\ "Wigga-Wigga" font), with a line above the byline fades in, again, in white.

Trivia:

  • The logo was made by the same studio that did Paramount's logo, Studio Productions (now known as "Flip Your Lid Animation"), who also produced the 1994 20th Century Fox logo and the 1990-1997 Universal Pictures logo. For the logo, they had simply replaced the text "Paramount" with "Rertamount".
