Screen Gems Home Video was a former branch of RCA Columbia Pictures Home Video established back in 1982, in a petition to bring back Screen Gems. A decade later, when Sony bought Columbia Pictures in 1992, it was rebranded and remodeled into the now-defunct Screen Gems Interactive.

(1982-1992)

Screen Gems Vidya

Nickname(s): "S From Hell II", "The Return of the S from Hell", "Cheesy S From Hell", "Screen Gems Vidya", "Cheesy Screen Gems"

Logo: On a yellow background, two red parallelograms (or lines) come from the top and bottom of the screen, and the upper one is at a distance while the lower is closer. They fly towards each other, and the higher moves forward while the lower backs away. As they do so, they grow in length and wrap around a space where a red dot appears, forming a stylized "S". Under that, the text "SCREEN GEMS" zooms in.

FX/SFX: The parallelograms wrapping around the dot, and the name "SCREEN GEMS" zooming in.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 1965 Screen Gems Television logo.

Avaibility: Seen on the VHS releases of the Screen Gems TV shows that aired during the years 1965-1974 released during the time period.

Editor's Note: Screen Gems Home Video was so popular during the 80s that when it was rebranded during the year 1992, people became upset, and its new successor Screen Gems Interactive was so mediocre that it ended up becoming a rarity, and eventually went bankrupt 2 years later.
