Background: What if Spellbound Entertainment (a British media company that produced The Koala Brothers) was never defunct in 2013 and continued to exist? Imagine if it was owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, well known for owning Columbia Pictures.
1st Logo
See here for description.
2nd Logo
(2007-2014)
Logo: On a black background, we see the Spellbound logo on a white box.
Variants:
- The logo is zooming out.
- The logo has a contrast effect.
- The logo is greyscale or sepia.
- In 2009, the logo has a newer look.
FX/SFX: None, except for the zooming out variant.
Music/Sounds: It has three themes: one has the 2002 and 2003 ABC Entertainment themes and one is the low-tone remake of the Sony Pictures Television theme (gman1290).
Music/Sounds Variants:
- There are two variants that cut the first one note. A short variant excludes the 2 notes.
- On one new The Koala Brothers episode, the SPT jingle goes up to a VERY LOUD volume and en echo can be heard at the end.
Availability: Ultra super mega extremely rare. The logo was found on new episodes of The Koala Brothers, after the show got discontinued in 2007.
Editor's Note: There's no way they did that kind of effort on this logo, as if it was made using Windows Movie Maker. Also, the very loud variant scares you when you need to turn your volume down.
3rd Logo
(2014-2019)
Logo: We see the Sony logo transitioning into a white background (that was the transition from the Sony Pictures Television 2014 variant and the current TriStar Television logo). Next, we see the 2009 Spellbound logo zooming in that ends with a transparent zooming-in clone. The stacked, dark-red words "SPELLBOUND ENTERTAINMENT, Ltd." fades in and the dark-red Sony byline fades in underneath.
FX/SFX: The Sony transition, the Spellbound logo zooming in ending with a transparent zooming-in clone, the byline fading in below.
Music/Sounds: The Sony Pictures Television music from the previous logo.
Availability: Seen on new episodes of The Koala Brothers.
Editor's Note: An unbelievable logo with unbelievable animation.
4th Logo
(2017, 2020)
Nicknames: "Frank and Buster", The Koala Brothers/Bros.", "The Koala Brothers Movie Logo"
Logo: The Sony transition comes up, then we see the same Spellbound logo on a white background. We see two koalas Frank (left) and Buster (right) walking. First, the commotion began. Frank says "I'm the best.", Buster says 'Well I'm the best too." but then Frank says "No, I'm the best.", Buster said "No, I'm the best too.". Next, both of them carry on arguing, get close, get angry and start shouting, until the slap their hands. Then, Frank kicks Buster out, saying "I'm going to kill you!" and farts at him. After that, Buster fainted of his farts. The Sony byline fades in below.
Variant: On The Koala Brothers Movie 2, the original plays, but when the result is finished Red (from The Angry Birds Movie) runs from the right-corner and punches Buster right in the face. (Serves Buster right for punching Frank!) He suddenly fainted and Red leaves.
FX/SFX: Beautiful half CGI/stop-motion animation by Sony Pictures Animation!
Music/Sounds: Sound effects.
Availability: Extinct. Taken from The Koala Brothers Movie and The Koala Brothers Movie 2 after the Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation logos.
Editor's Note: This is a funny but violent logo.
5th Logo
(2019-)
Logo: We see the Sony transition once again. Then on a light-blue/white gradient background, we see the current logo zooming out, along with these parts: two ghost oval outlines rotating, vertically and horizontally, oval by oval. The star starts drawing on the same line (just like the 1st logo). Then the logo stops zooming in and the ovals merge to a normal oval. As the logo shines, the stacked words from the 3rd logo and the Sony byline fades in word by word, underneath.
FX/SFX: The Sony transition, the logo zooming out, two ovals rotating, the star on the line drawing, until the logo stops zooming in, the ovals merging to a single oval, the words fading in one by one. They're real perfect CGI.
Music/Sounds: Same as the 3rd logo, but enhanced and reorchestrated.
Availability: Seen on new episodes of The Koala Brothers.
Editor's Note: A new interesting logo that already came.
