Ronald McDonald Studios[]
Ronald McDonald Studios was the original name of the company McDonaldland. It was founded in 1995 as a division of McDonald's, but then changed its name in 1997.
1st Logo (1995-1997)[]
Nicknames: Ronald!, The handle
Logo: In a yellow room with red floor we see an handle and Ronald McDonald walks on it, pulls it and the words "Ronald McDonald Studios" fades on
Music/Sounds: Walking sound effect and a fanfare similar to the one used for the late 1990s/early 2000s High Voltage Software logo.
FX: Nothing special, just 2D animation made using frame-by-frame techniques.
Avariability: Rare, since this has been plastered by the other logos.
Scare factor: Low to medium for the walking sound and the fanfare.
McDonaldland Studios/McDonaldland Pictures[]
1st Logo (1997-2005)[]
Nicknames: Ronald's Radio Tower, RKO Parody Logo: On a black background, we see a green grid outline of Ronald McDonakd's's head being drawn, then a light flashes and then the outline turns black. Then a green RKO-like radio tower is built on top of his head, and we zoom out a little bit as it is built. When it is done, white rings start popping out of it, causing the radio tower itself to change to white and the text "McDonaldland" and the spaced out letters "PICTURES" below it to appear, and the text shines when it shows up. Ronald looks at the radio tower once the rings come out of it, then after a few seconds we fade to black.
Music/Sounds: The Toei Home Video logo fanfare and the morse code beeps when the white rings appear.
FX/SFX: Good animation.
Availability: First seen on the 1997 re-release of the 1970 film Noki Noki's Vacation right after the Paramount Pictures logo.
Scare factor: Medium.
2nd Logo (2005-2009)[]
Nicknames: Ronald's Radio Tower II, RKO Parody II
Logo: We zoom out of the Ronald head from the first logo's pupil, and we see that the head is floating through space and that he has the white radio tower also from the first logo on top of his head. Ronald looks at it, and then white rings pop out of the radio tower the same way as the 1st logo, and then the "McDonaldland Pictures" wordmark from the first logo this time in white fades in below. The byline "An McDonald's Company" fades in below the wordmark, then we fade to black after a few seconds.
Music/Sounds: The 1984-1991 New World Pictures fanfare, and some morse code beeps when the white rings appear. Otherwise the logo is silent or has the opening theme of the movie.
FX: Great animation and space backgound
Avariability: Seen the first time on the 2005 re-release of the 2002 film Ronald McDonald The Movie.
Scare factor: Minimal.
3rd Logo (2014-2019)[]
Logo: On a black background, a bunch of cyan and grey squares fly from the right side of the screen. The text "McDonaldland" from the previous two logos is on them.
Music/Sounds: None or the opening or closing theme of the show or movie.
FX: CGI made using Blender and Flash.
Availability: Current. First seen on The Jacob Show and Last seen in Greeny Loves Logos.
Scare Factor: None. Despite the crude CGI, unless it's at the end of The Jacob Show and you hate Carly Rae Jepsen. Then it's high.
