Background: In 2010, John Sullivan received a phone-call from Viacom stating that they would own the now-defunct Thorn EMI Video. In 2013, Viacom restored Thorn EMI Video. This all new Thorn EMI Video has many offices in the UK, Canada, Portugal, Japan, Australia and other countries.

3rd Logo (2013-)

Nicknames: "CGI Thorn EMI Video", "Return of the Thorn", "The Thorn Returns!", "Thornimated II", "The Thorn III", "Travelling Through The City"

Logo: On a sky background, we pan down, seeing a street. We then travel through the street in a very fast motion. We then travel through a restaurant, then a cinema, then a lake and finally a forest. A glow occurs in the forest. The glow comes out of the trees in the forest and flies into the sky. The glow suddenly dies down, revealing the thorn from the 1st and 2nd Thorn EMI Video logos. The thorn bolds, glows and then brightens, turning the entire screen a white colour. The white background then fades away, revealing a black background with the Thorn EMI Video logo. The end result is the same as the 2nd logo.

FX/SFX: Amazing CGI animation, made on After Effects and Blender. Every part is detailed, with a very realistic background and great effects. Also, there are many blurs during the travel through the city.

Cheesy Factor: 100% not cheesy. Amazing animation, probably.

Music/Sounds: Air playing in the background, then, a majestic-sounding theme that sounds similar to the music from the NBCUniversal logo, followed by whooshes and a longer and remixed version of the 2nd Thorn EMI Video logo.

Availability: Current. Can be seen on DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases from Thorn EMI Video, as well as DVD releases of ITV-owned shows.

Scare Factor: Low, the extremely fast pace may not sit well with many people. Who cares, this is a great logo.
