Background: VH1 Films is the film division of VH1, the sister channel to MTV, currently owned by Viacom.
(September 28, 2001)
Logo: On a white background we see pulsing circles which pans left and shines to form the 1994 VH1 channel logo with "Music First" (the slogan from 1994-2003) below. Next to it we see the word "FILMS" in a narrow upper-case font.
FX/SFX: The pulsing circles, the shining of the VH1 logo and the 'FILMS" text fading in.
Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Appeared exclusively on Zoolander.
Scare Factor: Low. This is a tame logo.
Logo: We move across the sunset sea and stop upon the island where the giant VH1 Films logo stands. A human figure moves below, opens the small door in the logo (where the blue light beams) and walks there.
FX/SFX: Great animation.
Music/Sounds: A somber piano tune, changing to disco music when the door opens, then back.
Availability: Seen on Totally Awesome.
Scare Factor: Low. This is a great logo.
Logo: We see the 2013-present VH1 logo zooming out from the left. Right next to it, the word "FILMS" appears right next to it.
FX/SFX: The animation produced at Sam A. Webster's new animation studio, Glass and a Half Full Productions.
Music/Sounds: The drumroll when the VH1 logo zooms out, and the cymbal crash when the text "FILMS" appear right next to it.
Trivia: The cymbal crash is also heard on those classic Disney movies you watch at home.
Availability: Brand new and rare. It can possibly be seen on VH1 movies being produced in the future.
Scare Factor: Low. Compared to the other logos, the cymbal crash may catch you off guard.
