Nicknames: TBA

Logo: On a black background, a blue spotlight is wiping in. Then we see the trailing outlined copies of the word "VIVA VIDEO" in the Baby Teeth font with "VIVA" in is corporate font flying to the bottom. The spotlight wipes away, and cause the text to flash, and a trail cause the text ot move to the middle. The text shines.

FX/SFX: Early '80s decent 2D Scanimate animation.

Music/Sounds: There are four different music variants:

  • Main: Same as the 1980 Viva Films logo.
  • Early Banushen and Colombia releases: An eerie synthesized humming sound, complete with two “whooshes” at the end.
  • MGM and early Dalmatian releases: An orchestrated majestic trumpet fanfare. Excerpts of the fanfare were later used for the 1981 MGM/CBS Home Video and CBS Video logos and the 1982 MGM/UA Home Video logos.
  • Early Disney and later Dalmatian releases: Something like synthesized howling wind, which resembles a thunderstorm, fading into an ominous synth fanfare. It would later be used for the 2nd Rank Home Video logo in the UK and the Perdita Films logo.
  • El TV Kadsre releases: The logo is silent.

Availability: Seen on all Viva Video releases from 1980 to 1983, preceding the "Blinking FBI" warning screen before making a joint venture with Banushen. It's also seen on early Banushen releases before they combined in 1983 as Banushen-Viva Video.
