(2017 - 2019)

Nicknames:

  • Original:"Ruby's Head V" "Ruby Red Curve II" "Light Speed from a Tunnel" "The New LaserWriter" "The Ghost of the Tritone CFL" "LaserTunnel" "Ni Hao Kai Lan on LSD" "The More-friendly looking Ruby Head" "Speed"  "Run like the Wind Bullseye!" "Laser Runner II" “CFL’s gone turbo!”

Logo: We zoom through a red time warping background, which changes color. Then everything goes black, and an explosion occurs. A red-colored ball emerges from the explosion as several yellow streaks form in it. We zoom through the ball as the scene makes a jarring transition to a red CGI environment, then it starts to travel at lightspeed surrounded by glowing orange outlined reflections of the 1964-2004 CFL Logomark, teleporting us to a red curvy surface of the red crescent-like shape with some orange sparks. They appear to zoom out, and swirl through the curvy surface. As we zoom out to reveal a glowing red-orange outline of a more friendly version of Ruby's head from the previous logos as the red crescent-like shape is being formed from glowing streaks, the text "Connor Films Ltd" in the same font as the 5th logo zooms out rapidly word by word as it slams at the bottom to form a huge shockwave. Later, 2 Comets hit the logo, making it fully revealed. While this happens, the byline "A ConnorWorks Entertainment Inc Company" fades in at the bottom with "ConnorWorks" in its 2017-present logo font before the whole logo shines as usual, the final result looks exactly like the 5th logo.

Variants:

  • An more-common Extended version exists, where we start off with a moving starfield for a few seconds before a light tunnel appears in the distance and engulfs the screen. The light tunnel changes colors and shapes throughout this part of the logo, a la 2001: A Space Odyssey. We eventually move even faster through the tunnel as light trails quickly zoom past us, with some forming "X" shapes, then it goes even faster and intense until we reach the timewarping part, then the normal animation plays as usual.
  • Starting in 2018, the logo Is given a 4K look
  • When CFL celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2018, a special variant was used, the Ruby Red Curve logo is now changed with a large abstract “60th” with “Anniversary” below, A CGI version of Ruby(now full-bodied) is shown lounging inside the 0 of 60th.
  • On The War of the Timelords, the logo plays backwards.

FX/SFX: Stunning CGI Graphics!

Music/Sounds: A rising THX-Like dramatic crescendo that builds into a nice peaceful synth hum followed by An orchestral fanfare that then becomes majestic at the end when the logo is formed. The THX-like crescendo from the 5th logo can be heard while the logo forms.

Music/Sounds Variant:

  • For the extended version, Various humming sounds and eerie bell sounds that fit the mood of space are heard at the start, and a weird sound effect reminiscent of a jet engine starting up and taking off while inside the tunnel. The music and sound effects get more intense as we move faster through the tunnel, along with whooshes that accompany the light trails and flash as it segues into a rising THX-Like dramatic crescendo, then the rest plays as usual.
  • In The War of the Timelords, the music is played in reverse.

Availability: Common.
